Real Madrid are set to face Leganés at Butarque in the Copa del Rey quarter-final. Following the draw, the Club's Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, assessed the tie for Realmadrid TV: “With such a packed calendar, not having to travel far his great news. We'll be up against very dangerous opposition, we're well aware of that. Playing away from home makes life more difficult, we need to keep that in mind. But of course we're hugely excited, and we're eager to be back in the semifinal draw.”

“Leganés are in fantastic form right now. They're on an impressive winning run and the atmosphere in the stadium will be rocking. They will be really dangerous opposition. We're playing every three days and that comes with an element of fatgiue, which we must be aware of. I'm sure it will be a hard-fought and very tight game. It will be decided on small margins, as is always the case in these kinds of knockout ties. Of course, we hope the team can book their ticket to the semifinals."

Important week
“In our case, almost every match is like a final. We have to play well and win, each game is a challenge. Expectations are always sky high, so we have to keep winning our games up until that week, as is always the case where Real Madrid is concerned. It's a quarterfinal, 90 minutes away from home, so it's bound to be very demanding. Then we'll be up against Atlético de Madrid, a hugely tough game again, no doubt. We'll see what the table looks like when we get there, but of course it will be a massively important match for the club."
