The first stop for Real Madrid on their visit to the United States this summer is Chicago. The most populous city in the state of Illinois will host Ancelotti's side against Milan in what will be the third match the team has played at Soldier Field. The stadium is home to MLS's Chicago Fire and American football's Chicago Bears.

The stadium was designed in 1919 to commemorate the American soldiers who died in World War I. Officially opened in 1924, the stadium was renamed Soldier Field a year later. Several renovations have seen the stadium's capacity vary over the years, with the current capacity now more than 60,000.

The two previous matches
Real Madrid's first visit to Soldier Field dates back to July 2005, when they beat Mexico's Chivas 3-1 in a friendly match on a summer tour that also took them to Japan, China and Thailand.
In the second meeting, which was in 2017, our team came out on top in the MLS All-Star Game, where they faced some of the best players in Major League Soccer. After the match ended 1-1, Real Madrid won on penalties (2-4).
