This is the Ferencváros Stadion in Budapest
Real Madrid will visit this stadium for the first time to face Ferencvaros (Saturday, 7:00 pm CEST; Realmadrid TV).
The Ferencváros Stadion in Budapest will host the preseason friendly match between Real Madrid and Ferencvaros this Saturday, August 8, at 7:00 pm CEST (Realmadrid TV). This will be the first time our team plays a match in the Hungarian stadium.
Inaugurated in 2014 under the commercial name Groupama Arena, it has a capacity for 22,000 spectators in international competitions. The stadium was officially opened on August 10, 2014, with a friendly match against Chelsea, then managed by our coach José Mourinho.
This sports venue was built on the foundations of the old Albert Flórián Stadium, where Real Madrid played in the 1995/96 European Cup. In addition to being the regular home ground of Ferencvaros, it has hosted significant European events such as the 2019 UEFA Women's Champions League final.
