Ancelotti becomes coach to have managed most European Cup games
The Italian coach took his tally to 215 games in Europe's top competition against Liverpool, surpassing Ferguson.
Carlo Ancelotti became the coach to have managed the most European Cup games (215). The Madridista coach overtook Ferguson's record at Anfield (214). The Italian's games are spread across eight teams: Parma (8), Juventus (10), Milan (77), Chelsea (18), PSG (10), Bayern Munich (12), Napoli (12) and Real Madrid (68).
Ancelotti is also the coach with the most European Cup victories under his belt (123). This competition is a special one in the Italian's career, as he is the only manager with five trophies to his name. After winning two as Milan boss, in his first year as Madridista coach he secured La Decima ( 2014). He repeated this success on his return to the club with La Decimocuarta in 2022 and was crowned champion again last season with La Decimoquinta.
