Real Madrid won the Spanish Cup for the sixth time 90 years ago. Valencia were their opponents in the final, in a match played at the Montjuïc stadium (Barcelona). Following a very even first half, the goals came after the break. Valencia struck first, but Madrid's reaction was not long in coming and in just two minutes our team came from behind with goals from Hilario and Lazcano to claim the trophy.
Real Madrid knocked out Osasuna (round of 16), Athletic Club (quarter-finals) and Betis (semi-finals).
