Croatia beat Portugal away in their last friendly prior to the European Championship, in which they debut against Spain next Saturday (6:00pm CEST). Their captain, Real Madrid's Luka Modrić, was the star of the show, scoring the first goal of the game from the penalty spot in the eighth minute. Diogo Jota equalised in the 48th minute at the start of the second half and Budimir, eight minutes later, made it 2-1. Modrić was taken off in the 54th minute.
