Gonzalo played a key role in Spain U21s' win over Romania. The Real Madrid striker completed the full clash, and found the net in the 17th minute, when he headed home Fresneda's cross. After the break, Fresneda made it 0-2 with 53 minutes played.
These latest three points mean Spain U21s have won all five games so far, extending the gap at the top of their European Championships qualifying group. They now sit five points ahead of Finland, who were held to a goalless draw by Kosovo.
