Real Madrid play their final LaLiga match this afternoon. The Whites bring the league season to a close at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium (4:15 pm CEST), aiming to end the championship with a 26th league win and the third in a row.

Farewell to two legends: the most decorated coach and player
It will also be a very emotional match because the Santiago Bernabéu will say goodbye to two legends: Carlo Ancelotti and Luka Modrić. The coach ends his spell at our club after six seasons, in which he has become the most successful coach with 15 titles in 353 games including today's match. His list of honours as a Madridista includes 3 Champions Leagues, 3 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 2 LaLigas, 2 Copa del Reys and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
For his part, the Croatian midfielder will end an unforgettable period as Real Madrid player at the end of the Club World Cup. He does so as the most successful player in the history of Real Madrid, with 28 titles in 590 games, and one of only five players in the history of football to have won six European Cups. In addition to those six Champions League titles, there are 6 Club World Cups, 5 European Super Cups, 4 Spanish League titles, 2 King's Cups and 5 Spanish Super Cups.

“I’m proud to have had the opportunity to coach this club and to be part of its history”, said Ancelotti in a press conference, who, in case of taking three points tomorrow, would say goodbye to Real Madrid with his 250th victory. He will be without the suspended Bellingham, but will bring back Vini Jr. and BrahimMbappé, who has scored in the last four league games (7 goals) and is in contention for the Golden Boot, will also be in the squad. He would virtually clinch the award if he scores and Salah does not score three or more goals for Liverpool tomorrow than the Frenchman does today.

The opposition
Real Sociedad arrive at the Bernabéu on the back of last weekend's 3-2 home win over Girona. Sitting 11th in LaLiga before the start of this final round of fixtures and with no chance of qualifying for any European competition next season, the Basque side will be looking for their 14th win in the competition. Oyarzabal is their top scorer this season with 18 goals, nine of them in the league.
