Real Madrid continue their intense schedule after the international break and tonight they host Espanyol at the Bernabéu in the sixth LaLiga matchday of the season (9:00pm CEST). Ancelotti‘s men resume a demanding September in which they have won all three games (BetisReal Sociedad and Stuttgart) and still have to play two more in the league against Alavés at home and Atlético Madrid away.

Tonight's objective is to keep up the positive run of results so far. The Whites, who have won all three of their games at the Bernabéu this season, are also unbeaten in their seven official matches, scoring at least one goal per game. In the championship, they have gone 37 games without defeat.

‘We're getting into a good dynamic,’ said Ancelotti at the press conference ahead of LaLiga matchday six. The Whites, who are one of the four unbeaten teams in the current edition (Barcelona, Atlético and Villarreal are the others), have Mbappé in their squad. The Frenchman has been on target in his last three games, scoring four goals. He already has five, thanks to the goal he scored against Atalanta in the European Super Cup.

Espanyol
The Catalan side, who have returned to Primera Division this season, go into matchday six in mid-table and in great form. In fact, they head to the Santiago Bernabéu having taken seven points from their last three games, in which they drew goalless at the Metropolitano and won at Rayo (2-1) and Alavés (3-2). Their top scorer is Javi Puado with three goals, all of which came last time out.
