The Whites head to the Estadio de Vallecas on matchday 25 of LaLiga (2pm CET).

After the victory in Leipzig in the Champions League, Real Madrid return to LaLiga action. This afternoon, the league leaders visit the Estadio de Vallecas to face Rayo on matchday 25 of the campaign (2pm CET). The Whites will be aiming to record their 20th win in the competition and cement their lead at the top of the standings.

“Vallecas is always a tough place to play at,” said Ancelotti at the press conference ahead of the clash. The Italian will be without the suspended Mendy and the injured Bellingham and Rüdiger. But Brahim, who struck a sensational winning goal against Leipzig is available. Rodrygo, Vini Jr. and Joselu have also been named in the squad. The three forwards have contributed 22 goals in LaLiga together and their contribution could prove to be decisive if Madrid are to win in Vallecas.
Rayo Vallecano
Rayo go into the game with new coach Íñigo Pérez replacing Francisco in the dugout. Rayo started the day in 14th position with a record of five wins, nine draws and ten defeats. Their top scorer is Álvaro García with six goals.
