Milan-Real Madrid: Chicago hosts the game of 22 European Cups
Real Madrid (15) and Milan (7), the two most successful teams in the top continental competition, meet at Soldier Field (Thursday 1 August, 2.30am CEST; Wednesday 31 July, 7.30pm local time).
Real Madrid get their pre-season underway with a historic European Cup match. Chicago's Soldier Field hosts the encounter between the two teams with the most titles in the top continental competition: Fifteen for the current champions and seven for Milan. A new campaign full of challenges begins for Ancelotti's side, who will play in seven official competitions: LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Champions League, Club World Cup, Intercontinental Cup and the Spanish and European Super Cups.
Real Madrid will face some of the best teams in Europe on the DirecTV Soccer Champions Tour. In addition to Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea will be the other opponents on this demanding pre-season tour. Chicago is the first stop on our team's 23rd visit to the United States, while New Jersey and Charlotte will host the other two matches of the tour.

Squad
The squad undertook two weeks of training at Real Madrid City before continuing their preparations in the United States. For the matches on the DirecTV Soccer Champions Tour, Carlo Ancelotti has called up 26 players. Among them is Endrick, who was presented at the Bernabéu on Saturday 27 July and could get his first game-time as a Real Madrid player.
Milan's third match
For their part, Milan go into the game unbeaten and more experienced after two pre-season games, the last of which was in the United States. The team coached by Portuguese Paulo Fonseca drew 1-1 in their opener against Rapid Vienna with a goal from Florenzi and beat Manchester City (2-3) in the second, with a brace from Colombo and the final goal from Nasti.
