The October international break has come to a close, which means a return to LaLiga action for our boys this weekend. Tonight marks the start of a tough run of games for Real Madrid, including the Clásico, as they face six fixtures in three weeks, ahead of the November internationals. Today they take on Getafe at the Coliseum looking to take three points that will send them back to the top of the table (9:00 pm CEST).

It'll be the first, and only away game, of four in a row for Xabi Alonso's boys without leaving Madrid, with three consecutive games at the Bernabéu on the horizon. In just three days' time, Real Madrid host Juventus in the third game of the opening phase of the Champions League (Wednesday, 9:00pm CEST), before the Clásico in the League next Sunday (4:15 pm CEST). Valencia will be the last team to visit in this run of games (1 November, 9:00 pm CEST).

“We want to be consistent and show good performance levels," underlines Xabi Alonso in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Coliseum clash. The coach has already named his squad, but will be without MendyCeballos, Rüdiger, Carvajal, Trent and HuijsenMbappé is available though, with the competition's leading marksman having hit nine so far, finding the net in nine of ten appearances to date (14 goals in total).

The opposition
Bordalás' team are enjoying a fine start to LaLiga. Before this weekend's round of games, they sit mid-table in 11th, on 11 points, having picked up three wins, two draws and three defeats. They're strongest at the Coliseum, where they remain unbeaten so far: 1 win and 2 draws. Adrián Liso, who returns after playing in the U20 World Cup for Spain, is their top scorer in the league with three to his name.
