Celta-Real Madrid: LaLiga is back
The Whites go in search of three points on LaLiga matchday ten following the international break (9:00pm CET).
LaLiga is back after the October international break. Real Madrid begin a demanding run of six matches in 21 days tonight against Celta in Balaídos (9:00pm CET). The Whites will be looking to remain unbeaten and pick up their seventh league win in Vigo.
Getting a good result is key to gaining confidence ahead of one of the weeks marked in red on the calendar. After this match against Celta, the Santiago Bernabéu will host two big games. First, against Borussia Dortmund in the replay of the most recent Champions League final (Tuesday, 9:00pm CET) and then against Barcelona in the first Clásico of the season (Saturday, 9:00pm CET).
"The players are motivated and in good physical condition," said Ancelotti at the pre-match press conference. Courtois returns to a squad that includes all the internationals who were involved in the international break, as well as Mbappé and Vini Jr. Both are the top scorers for our team in LaLiga with 5 and 4 goals respectively.
Celta
Celta started the day in ninth place, with a record of four wins, one draw, and four defeats. Three of those wins have come at Balaídos. Celta are proving to be very strong at home and are one of the best home sides in the league. Borja Iglesias and Iago Aspas, who will not play due to suspension, are their top scorers with four goals apiece.
