Atlético-Real Madrid: first derby of the season
Ancelotti's side head into LaLiga matchday eight unbeaten and on a five-game winning streak (9:00pm CET).

Real Madrid play the first derby of the season tonight at the Cívitas Metropolitano (9:00pm CET). It will be a difficult outing for Ancelotti's side, who have yet to taste defeat this season and face the other Primera División team that remains unbeaten in official competition.
The Whites conclude a demanding September away, in which they have won all five games they have played (Alavés, Espanyol, Stuttgart, Real Sociedad and Betis). Ancelotti's men will be looking to continue this good run of form tonight. Real Madrid are also on a 39-match unbeaten run in LaLiga and will be eager to extend that run in the derby.

‘We are on the right track and being compact will be key,’ Ancelotti revealed at the pre-match press conference. This is the Italian coach's squad, which will be without Brahim, Alaba, Ceballos and Mbappé. Camavinga is available however after returning from injury. The same goes for Rodrygo, who has scored in our last two games and has participated in 21 goals in nine official games for Real Madrid this season.
Atletico
Our opponents go into the game third in the table, two points behind Real Madrid. At home they have been very solid in their four official matches played. They have drawn one and won the other three. Moreover, they have only conceded one goal in all of them. Griezmann, with three goals, is the top scorer of the red and white team, which has been reinforced with players such as Le Normand, Julián Álvarez, Gallagher, Lenglet and Sorloth.
