Real Madrid Castilla drew with Ibiza in the first game of 2024 at the Alfredo Di Stéfano and finish the first half of the league in mid-table with 27 points. The visitors took the lead in the 70th minute, but Aparicio, just a few minutes after entering the field of play, brought the game back on level terms when he finished off a cross from Obrador. With this result, Raúl's team has now gone six games unbeaten.

After a tentative first few minutes, the reserve team had the chance to open the scoring in the 17th minute with two good scoring chances in quick succession. Firstly, Gonzalo connected with a shot from the edge of the area that Sequeira cleared off the line. Next, Palacios collected the rebound and Medina prevented the goal with a great goal-line save. From this point on, Castilla took control of the game and it was Palacios again who could have scored when he picked up a ball in the opposition half, but his shot from the edge of the area went just wide of the post (33'). Before the break, Gonzalo had two good chances from the right flank, but both shots were blocked by the keeper.

In the second half of the match, Ibiza wanted to take the initiative in attack and the chances for Madrid stopped coming. It was not until the 63rd minute that Manuel Ángel connected with a powerful left-footed shot that the visiting goalkeeper saved with a double block. Our opponents responded with a shot from Obolskii that Cañizares deftly cleared off the line. But in the 70th minute, Ibiza took advantage of a corner to take the lead through Escassi. Our reserve team did not take long to score and Aparicio, a few minutes after entering the field of play, levelled the score with a shot from Obrador's cross (77'). The scoreline remained unchanged in the final minutes and Castilla continue their unbeaten run.
