Real Madrid Castilla's winning streak continues. Arbeloa's side overcame Talavera at the Alfredo Di Stéfano on Primera Federación matchday 10 to secure their fifth consecutive victory in the competition. After dominating the game throughout, our team secured the three points thanks to Joan Martínez's fine 82nd-minute header, which puts them in third place.

Before the start of the match, the stadium held a minute's silence in memory of José Manuel Ochotorena. There were no goals in a slow-paced first half in which Castilla had most of the possession. The clearest chance for the Whites came from Palacios, who picked up a loose ball near the six-yard box and fired over the bar (19'). Talavera also had a chance to score, but Fran González prevented it in a one-on-one with Marcos Moreno (29').

Joan Martínez seals the win with a header
After the break, Castilla had several chances to take the lead, but Jaime González made some good saves. Our team did not relent and the goal finally came in the dying moments of the match. Joan Martínez's bullet header from a corner kick made it 1-0 in the 82nd minute. Shortly before the end, Fran González prevented Talavera from equalising with a fantastic save from Di Renzo's shot. This was the fifth consecutive victory to keep us at the top of the table.
