Our reserve team came out on top in Viveiro courtesy of a brace from Loren and goals from Borja Alonso and Víctor Muñoz.
Real Madrid Castilla picked up another pre-season win. Raúl's men won convincingly against Portuguese second division side Vizela in the Luis de Carlos Tournament played in Viveiro. Borja Alonso ('41), Víctor Muñoz ('43) and Loren ('66 and '71) scored for our team.
Castilla enjoyed a strong first half. Dominating the game, they created a number of good chances before the goals came on the stroke of half-time. The first one arrived thanks to a great team move. A pass with the outside of the foot from Reinier found Víctor Muñoz between the lines. He set up Borja Alonso, who slotted home in the six-yard box (41') to open the scoring. Good Castilla pressure two minutes later released Víctor Muñoz in a good position to fire past Francesco (43').
After the usual rotations seen in pre-season, Castilla began a second half looking to extend their lead. Their goalkeeper, however, denied David Jiménez and Gonzalo. Vizela reduced the deficit in the 58th minute via Uros, but a Loren brace put the game to bed for the Madrid reserve team.
