Real Madrid Castilla's great form continues to be reflected with another win, this time against Recreativo Granada at the Alfredo Di Stéfano. Our team has now gone four games unbeaten (three wins and a draw) and continues to climb the table. A Palacios goal in the 48th minute gave Raúl's team the three points and their twelfth win of the campaign.

Following a good move in the 5th minute, Palacios was fouled on the edge of the area but Nico Paz's effort hit the wall. The same players created Castilla's second dangerous chance a few minutes later. Nico Paz played a ball in from the wing that Palacios headed over. Granada's clearest chance came just before half-time when Faye's header went over.

Palacios clinches the victory
Castilla came out all guns blazing in the second period and it didn't take long for the goal to arrive. Palacios picked up the ball on the edge of the area, broke away from the opposition defence with a good run and unleashed a powerful shot at the far post to make it 1-0 (48'). Granada went in search of an equaliser, but Mario de Luis pulled off a fine save to keep out the visitors. From that point on, Castilla laid siege to Granada's area. Jeremy de Leon could have widened the gap in stoppage time, but Tristan kept out a one-on-one and the scoreline remained unchanged.
