Real Madrid Castilla were unable to claim victory in their third clash of the pre-season. Arbeloa's men faced a demanding contest at the Di Stéfano stadium against Segunda División outfit Andorra. The visitors took the lead in the first half, but Rachad equalised for the hosts in the 70th minute, netting his fourth goal in three games. The game was decided in the closing stages with two goals from Andorra.

The visitors started on the front foot in the opening exchanges, with Fran González making several crucial saves to keep the score goalless. However, in the 20th minute, De León opened the scoring with a sharp shot from inside the area. As the game wore on, Castilla gained momentum. Bruno almost grabbed the equaliser with a shot from the edge of the area that was turned wide by Yaakobishvili. The Whites controlled possession until the break, but were unable to find a leveller.

Both sides searched for a goal after the restart. In the 49th minute, Loren Zúñiga’s effort went just wide and, two minutes later, Fran González saved an Andorra penalty. The dominance continued to swing back and forth and, in the 70th minute, Castilla equalised. After a recovery in the opposition half, Loren Zúñiga struck the post and Rachad pounced on the rebound inside the area to make it 1-1. Despite a strong performance from Castilla, who had a chance to score a second in the 84th minute with a shot from G. Castrero, the game went in Andorra's favour with goals from Doménech ('87) and Alonso ('89).
