Real Madrid Castilla beat Alcoyano on Primera Federación matchday 33. Our team picked up their tenth victory of the season at the Alfredo Di Stéfano with a very comprehensive performance. Lorenzo opened the scoring with a volley in the 14th minute and Nico Paz netted the second in the 58th minute. The visitors pulled a goal back on 72 through Selma only for Aparicio to put the game to bed in the dying embers.

The game started with Castilla taking the lead before the first quarter of an hour. Obrador battled for the ball all the way to the byline and delivered a cross from the left flank that Lorenzo, arriving from behind, volleyed in perfectly to make it 1-0.

Raul's side dominated and had the better chances while Alcoyano tried to capitalise on some set-pieces. It was in the 57th minute that the referee, Daniel Pastoriza Iglesias, failed to award a penalty for some clear shirt-pulling on Álvaro Rodríguez inside the area. And almost immediately afterwards, Nico Paz scored Castilla's second. The reserve team midfielder picked up a pass on the edge of the visitors' area and slotted home past the keeper. The team's top scorer can now boast ten league goals this season.
Alcoyano pushed forward in an attempt to close the gap and could have done so on two occasions, but Cañizares was on hand on the first and the post prevented the second. However, Selma made no mistake on a counter-attack in the 72nd minute to make it 2-1. Castilla didn't allow nerves to set in and continued to dominate as they had done throughout the game and Aparicio sealed the win in the 89th minute with a great finish in front of Valens.
