Castilla's fixture list for their 2022/23 League campaign
Real Madrid Castilla's fixture schedule for the 2022/23 League season has been revealed. They will kick off their campaign on the 27 or 28 August, taking on Linense at the Alfredo Di Stéfano. The final day of the season will see our team head on the road to Algeciras.
Raúl González's team have been placed in Primera RFEF Group I, facing teams from Andalusia, Ceuta, the Community of Madrid, Castilla y León, Extremadura and Galicia.
Competition format
The 40 teams which make up the category are split into two groups of 20 depending on geographical location, divided between East and West. The competition will take place over two phases - the first, is the regular season. Those who finish top of their group will gain automatic promotion to the Segunda División, while the teams from second to fifth place will enter a single-game play-off. The five bottom five in the table will be relegated to the Segunda RFEF.
