Castilla's fixture list for 2023/24 league campaign
The reserve team are in Group II of the Primera Federación and kick off on 27 August against Melilla at 12 noon.
Real Madrid Castilla's 2023/24 league fixtures have been released, beginning on 27 August. Our reserve team will face Melilla first, at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium 12 noon. On the final matchday, they will host Málaga.
Raúl González's team is in Group II of the Primera RFEF, where they will play against teams from the Community of Madrid, Andalusia, Extremadura, Valencia, Murcia, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
Competition format
The 40 clubs that make up the Primera RFEF are split into two groups of 20, according to North-South geographical zones. The competition is played in two phases. The first phase will be the regular season. Those finishing top of the table will be promoted directly to the Second Division and those finishing between second and fifth place will play in the promotion playoff. The bottom five teams will be relegated to the Segunda RFEF.
