4-1: Defeat in Castellón
Castilla went ahead through a Dotor goal but Villarreal B came back to win it.
Real Madrid Castilla fell to defeat on their visit to Villarreal B on Primera RFEF matchday 35. Our team went ahead on 11 minutes when Dotor struck but the academy side from Castellón turned the game on its head at the Villarreal sports complex. The game kicked off at break-neck pace and the hosts soon fired off a warning shot when Íñiguez headed over, before Castilla went up the other end and opened the scoring. Latasa's shot came back off the crossbar and Dotor was on hand to turn the rebound into the net 11’.
The midfielder was at the centre of the action once again when he threaded a pass through behind the defence for Arribas, who failed to find the target with his effort. Just when Raúl's boys were looking most in control, Villarreal B got back into the game when Fuidias cleared a ball which fell to Pacheco, who drove into the box to make it 1-1 with 21 minutes gone.
Villarreal B then struck again through Forés to go ahead before the break, before extending their lead further after the restart. when Leal's shot across goal went in off the back post leaving Fuidias with no chance. Forés got on the scoresheet again on 69' to add to the home side's advantage and the result remained the same until the end of the game. Castilla now turn their attentions to their next league clash with UE Costa Brava at the Di Stéfano.
