Real Madrid Castilla and Eldense drew in the first leg of the promotion playoff final. The visitors took the lead in added time in the first half with a goal from Nieto. At the start of the second half, Cris Montes hit the post with a penalty kick and from that moment on our reserve team started to create some dangerous chances. In one of them, Arribas equalised in the 69th minute with a precise header from Obrador's cross. Raúl's team looked for the victory until the end, but promotion to the second division will be decided on Sunday 25th June in Elda 8:00pm CEST.
The first half was very evenly matched, but Castilla went into the break behind after Nieto's goal in stoppage time. The visitors' goal was the difference in a game in which Eldense took the lead in the only chance they had. The reserves, for their part, were unable to make the most of theirs. It came after eleven minutes and was also very clear. Peter got in front of a visiting defender and went one-on-one with goalkeeper G. Vallejo. His cross-shot narrowly missed the target.

Vallejo and a long-range effort from the number 10 went just wide of the target.
The deserved equaliser came in the 69th minute. Obrador crossed from the left and Arribas headed the ball home. 1-1. Castilla wanted more and went for the goal that would give them the win. They deserved it, but Eldense knew how to withstand Raúl's side's repeated advances. Promotion to Segunda Division will be decided next Sunday in Elda.
