The Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School and Louisiana State University have announced a collaboration agreement that will offer students at the American university an international study experience in Madrid. This collaboration will enable them to acquire practical knowledge in business, communication and leadership, based on the practical strategies of one of the world's most iconic sports organisations, Real Madrid.

The programme provides a comprehensive summer course, consisting of seven weeks of training worth a total of 6 credits. Course topics include sports marketing and the management of major events and sports venues.

Hands-on learning through business plan projects
One of the cornerstones of the programme is the business plan project, where students work directly with leading European companies affiliated with the Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School. These projects nurture entrepreneurial thinking and allow students to apply the values of entrepreneurship, leadership, integrity, teamwork and excellence.

Real Madrid Experience
All enrolled students participate in the Real Madrid Experience, an exclusive event that includes lectures by world leaders in sport, visits to Real Madrid's facilities and various workshops.

Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid and Managing Director of the Real Madrid-Universidad Europea Graduate School, praised the agreement: “We are proud to collaborate with such a respected institution as Louisiana State University. This programme provides students with a truly global educational experience, combining academic learning in both Louisiana and Madrid with insights from top professionals in the sports industry.”

Meanwhile, Roland Mitchell, Dean of the College of Humanities and Education at Louisiana State University, added that: “Opportunities to study abroad transform education and enable students to connect theory with practice. This experience will not only enrich students' academic careers, but also prepare them to lead with insight and empathy in an interconnected world.”
