73 years ago, Real Madrid won its second Spanish Basketball Cup. Led by player-coach Freddy Borrás, the Whites beat Joventut Badalona 43-41 in the final in Alicante.
Willo Galíndez was the game's star performer due to his 17 points. On the way to the final, Real Madrid eliminated Covadonga in the quarter-finals and in the semi-finals, they knocked out Canoe.
