Travis Montgomery (27 points) and Carlos Sevillano (17) were the top scorers for the Madridistas in the match.
In the semi-finals, Real Madrid squared off against Barcelona in a two-legged tie. The Whites prevailed in both matches to seal their place in the final. This Copa de España crown was the first of three consecutive titles.
