A minute's silence was observed at the Santiago Bernabéu before the start of the LaLiga match between Real Madrid and Valladolid in memory of all the members and madridistas who passed away last season.

Also remembered were Real Madrid vice-president in 1995 and club member for 43 years, Juan Miguel Villar Mir; Real Madrid player Eduardo Chato González, who played for the club from 1966 to 1969, during which time he won three league titles; and Francisco García Gómez Paquito, legendary Spanish football player and coach, who coached Real Valladolid for three seasons.
