Real Madrid made history in Abu Dhabi by winning their seventh world title. Their opponents on this occasion were Al Ain, whom our team beat 4-1 in the final. Modrić scored the first goal of the match with a shot from outside the area. LlorenteRamos and Nader, with an own goal, scored the other goals for Madrid.
In the semi-final of this edition, Real Madrid beat Kashima Antlers 1-3. Bale scored a hat-trick against the Japanese team and was voted the player of the tournament. Thanks to this victory in Abu Dhabi, Real Madrid became the first team to win the Club World Cup three years in a row and ended 2018 on a high, having previously won the Decimotercera.
