Led by Lolo Sainz, Madrid stamped their authority on the game early on, heading into the half-time break with a commanding lead over the Brazilians (54-36). The deficit increased over the course of the second half as Delibasic (33 points), Brabender (28) and Rullán (23) were the standout performers.
