Introduction:
The Board and I have implemented a profound process of stability, regeneration and renovation. Real Madrid always aspires to be the leading team and institution in the world of football.

Real Madrid is once again a stable and united club. It is also one of the most solid sports institutions in the world and it sits atop the revenue ranking; two pillars on which we will continue building the mystique and legend of our club.

Football Project:
Raul and Guti were two players who will forever be part of the history of Real Madrid over the last sixteen years. We must thank them and remind them that the door will always remain open so that they can again be a part of our family in the future.

My only desire is for this Real Madrid to be champion. Jose Mourinho is a man, who like Real Madrid, has an undying passion for winning. He is a born winner. We consider him the best coach in the world. Together we have improved the squad since last season.

We signed young and top-class players and their average age doesn’t even exceed 25 years. Pedro Leon and Sergio Canales are very promising players who help with the process of making our squad more Spanish, which we began doing last year.

Angel di Maria has become a full-time starter for his national team, while Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil won the admiration of many fans while playing for the German national team in South Africa. Ricardo Carvalho is a reliable expert who has a long-standing relationship with Mourinho and who can relay the new coach’s ideas while on the pitch.

Real Madrid is ready to battle on all fronts and aspires to win every title. Our biggest goal is the Champions League. We have spared no efforts to situate Real Madrid where it really belongs and in the best situations in order to accomplish the tremendous objective; the huge challenge of winning the Champions League for the tenth time. We will not rest until we do so.

We understand that the academy requires patience and time, but we will continue working on it and we know that the first team will benefit from appearances by players from what our great Alfredo di Stefano dubbed “The Factory”.

Basketball Project:
I would like to thank Louis Bullock for his dedication over the last six years, during which he won two ACB league titles and one ULEB Cup. During this new era we have tried to put together a squad comprised of important Spanish players and internationals who are familiar with the ACB and Euroleague; players including Sergio Rodriguez, Clay Tucker, D’or Fischer and Mirotic. I would also like to point out that our captain, Felipe Reyes signed a contract extension for the next three years.

Financial Project:
We are very satisfied with the financial results of the past year. Revenue from the 2009/10 fiscal year reached 442.3 million euros; the highest figure in the world in the sports industry. Our earnings before taxes were 31 million euros. We have predicted revenue of 450 million euros for 2010/11 and earnings before taxes of 19 million euros.

Foundation & Philanthropy:
Real Madrid is and will also be a great philanthropic team. We must use our strength, prestige and influence to improve the lives of those less fortunate, especially children. Our Foundation works throughout the world, but we must also take care of issues that hit closest to home.
