Tenth anniversary of our second European Super Cup
NEWS.

Today marks ten years since Real Madrid lifted their second European Super Cup. On 12 August 2014, off the back of winning La Décima just months before, the team got their hands on another continental trophy in Cardiff (Wales), when they beat Sevilla thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo brace (2-0). The Portuguese ace was named Player of the Match.

Real Madrid went ahead with half-an-hour played, when Cristiano Ronaldo turned home a lovely Gareth Bale cross from the left flank. After the break, the Portuguese forward decided the clash with a shot across goal. The win saw the madridistas lift the trophy once more, some 12 years after their first European Super Cup.
