Fourth Anniversary of the 35th League Title

On April 30, 2022, Real Madrid celebrated their 35th football league title. Our team clinched the title after a 4-0 win against Espanyol with four matches remaining. That afternoon, Ancelotti's side delivered an outstanding performance, defeating the Catalan team with a first-half brace from Rodrygo and second-half goals from Asensio and Benzema.

Real Madrid dominated the 2021-22 League, spending only one matchday, the second, outside the top position. Thanks to this consistency, the team finished the season 13 and 15 points ahead of Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid, who finished second and third, respectively. Benzema had a spectacular campaign, finishing as the top scorer with 27 goals. The squad capped off this perfect season by winning the 14th Champions League and the 12th Spanish Super Cup.
