91 years since club's sixth Copa de España
On 6 May 1934, the Whites beat Valencia 2-1 in the final at Montjuïc.

On this day, 91 years ago, Real Madrid lifted their sixth Copa de España. Their opponents in the final were Valencia, in a match at the Montjuïc stadium. After a very even first half, the goals came in the second half. Valencia were the first to score, but the Madridista's came back quickly and in just two minutes the Whites came from behind with goals from Hilario and Lazcano to claim the title.
Real Madrid eliminated Osasuna (last 16), Athletic Club (quarter-finals) and Betis (semi-finals) on the road to the final.
