A group of children from the Real Madrid Foundation attended the team's training session in Charlotte
They are taking part in a clinic held together with Avanza Sports in the city of North Carolina.
A group of 20 children who took part in the Real Madrid Foundation clinics held in Charlotte from 15 to 19 July in partnership with Avanza Sportsm had the chance to watch the first team train at the Atrium Perfomance Park. The children got a close-up view of their heroes and were able to watch the session.
The Foundation's clinics form part of the educational sporting programme developed by the organisation aimed at reaching all children and young people who wish to learn about football and its values.
With over 120 clinics held in the United States this summer, nearly 17,000 children and teenagers have been able to enjoy the experience during the summer holidays in the country, courtesy of the Foundation's collaboration with Avanza Sports, Kaptiva Sports, Akinji, Eurosoccer and GFM.
The clinics are run by coaches trained by the Foundation in their specific methodology and are endorsed by the club's sports area. Those taking part learn and practice new training skills in week-long experiences that combine technical-tactical content with learning values, characteristic of the educational methodology used by the Real Madrid Foundation: For a real education: Values and Sport. Many of them (over 2,000 with their families) will be able to round off the experience with a trip to Madrid this season to train at Real Madrid City, visit the Santiago Bernabéu museum and watch a match.
