Real Madrid Leyendas-Borussia Dortmund Legends: the Bernabéu set to host Corazón Classic Match 2025 tomorrow
The proceeds from the 12th edition of the match will go towards the Real Madrid Foundation's work placement program for at-risk or socially vulnerable young people, and the social sports projects (12:00 pm CEST).
The Santiago Bernabéu is gearing up to host the Corazón Classic Match 2025: A pass for hope. Real Madrid Leyendas and Borussia Dortmund Legends go head to head at our stadium (12:00pm CEST) in the twelfth edition of this charity game organised by the Real Madrid Foundation. The proceeds from this year's event will go towards the work placement program for at-risk or socially vulnerable young people from 16 years of age, which provides tools and professional training to help them negotiate life after they leave care; and the Real Madrid Foundation's social sports projects.
The fans will have the chance to witness a string of players who have made history with Real Madrid through the ages as they take to the pitch once more. New faces in this year's edition include Kroos, Marcelo, Pepe and Varane, who join club legends like Casillas, Raúl, Roberto Carlos, Butragueño, Baptista and Míchel Salgado. The madridista dugout will be manned by Camacho and Castro.
Up the other end, Borussia Dortmund, one of a select few teams with a European Cup in their trophy cabinet. Besides that crown, clinched back in 1996/97, they have also won 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, 8 League titles and 5 domestic cups, among other trophies. Their legends team will be coached by Jörg Heinrich (who will also play) and Nobby Dickel, while players like Weidenfeller, Dede, Amoroso, Barrios, Sokratis and Castro are all set to line up.
