The first‑team basketball players were visited by the students from the wheelchair basketball schools run by the Real Madrid Foundation at facilities in Getafe and La Masó. Everyone enjoyed the training session, which was followed by an inclusive activity session.
The students took the chance to witness first hand how preparation, teamwork, and motivation look in professional sports. After the session, the very special moment was captured in a family photo with all the players. Later, Sergio Llull, Mario Hezonja and Andrés Feliz played alongside the students in wheelchairs, opening up a space for coexistence and learning.

Motivational experience
The initiative allowed the players to experience the technical and physical challenges of wheelchair basketball, while also highlighting the effort of the young participants. The kids enjoyed a motivational experience that saw them get up close and personal with their basketball role models and share experiences.
These initiatives reinforce a commitment to inclusive sport and the promotion of values such as respect, equality, and teamwork, demonstrating that sport can be a powerful tool to unite, educate, and create shared experiences. The Foundation’s wheelchair basketball schools are supported by UPS.
