Real Madrid Foundation and SDA Agency hold first clinic in New Zealand
The initiative was undertaken at the Sacred Heart College in Auckland.
The Real Madrid Foundation and SDA Agency held their first joint clinic in New Zealand, thereby expanding their collaboration in Oceania. The training sessions took place at Sacred Heart College in Auckland and were positively received by families, who praised the professionalism of the technical team and the wonderful organisation.
During the week, participants enjoyed a special visit from Ian ‘Kamo’ Jones, a prominent figure in New Zealand rugby and former All Blacks player, who shared values such as teamwork, effort, respect and leadership with coaches and students, in keeping with the methodology of the Real Madrid Foundation. New Zealand is hosting this educational programme on football and values for the second time, having first run it in 2018.
In addition to this clinic, the Foundation organises others with SDA Agency in Australian cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, with more than 800 participants last season and 400 at the start of the current season.
