The Real Madrid Foundation and Conscient Sports held the second edition of the India Challenge 2026 in the city of Gurugram. The three-day friendly football tournament was attended by more than 600 young people from the Educational Football Programmes in New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad.

This tournament reflected the growing popularity and enthusiasm for football among young athletes across India, as well as the opportunity to play and learn values through sport. Andrés Muntaner, Director of Campus and Clinics at the Real Madrid Foundation, highlighted the Foundation's ongoing commitment to education through football: "Visiting India for the India Challenge 2026 was a truly inspiring experience. Beyond the competition, the joy of families coming together, children making new friends and everyone sharing football on and off the pitch made these three days an exceptional experience and a true celebration of football and friendship".

Kriti Jain Gupta, Director of Conscient Sports, said: "We are extremely proud to host the second edition of the India Challenge. This event goes beyond competition: it represents our commitment to the holistic development of the country's youth through sport and its values, building a strong sporting culture and creating meaningful experiences for families and communities. Since the beginning of our partnership with the Real Madrid Foundation, we have trained thousands of children across India in values. We aspire for this India Challenge to become an annual event of reference in the country's youth sporting calendar".
