The managing director of the Real Madrid FoundationJulio González Ronco, and the Foundation's director of campuses and clinics, Andrés Muntaner, were welcomed by Maroua Jrairi and Hamza Megzari, co-founders of the Moroccan organisation Play Makers, to present the Real Madrid Foundation's first Educational Football Program in the country. This initiative, which begins at the American School in Rabat, represents the commitment of both institutions to promote education in values through sport among the new generations.

Julio González Ronco explained that the Real Madrid Foundation's Educational Football Program aims to prepare active and committed citizens, and to use sport as an effective educational tool to instil values such as respect, teamwork, solidarity and hope.

More than a football programme
Maroua Jrairi and Hamza Megzari, co-founders of Play Makers, said the launch of the programme in Rabat represents the first step in an ambitious national vision to extend this model to all young people in Morocco. They stressed that this initiative goes beyond being a football programme, as it offers an educational environment focused on teaching values. In this way, children will develop their personality, strengthen their self-confidence and acquire a sense of responsibility.
