Felipe Reyes opens the Real Madrid Foundation's Copa Alma basketball tournament
This is the tenth meeting of European social sports schools.

Real Madrid ambassador Felipe Reyes welcomed the participants of the Real Madrid Foundation's 10th Alma Europa Cup. Fifty youngsters from the social sports schools in Hungary, Ukraine, Portugal and Poland will celebrate together a few days of living together focused on basketball and its values.
Felipe Reyes spoke to the participants: "You're going to have the chance to meet teammates from different countries and cultures, but you all have basketball, Real Madrid and its values in common. Make the most of this opportunity to make friends and create memories that will stay with you forever". The social and sports tournament will be held at the Barajas Municipal Sports Centre.
The participants were also able to watch Real Madrid's match against Bàsquet Girona at the WiZink Center. During the week, they will also take part in an inclusive training session with an adapted basketball school, go on the Tour Bernabéu and explore the city of Madrid. A unique experience for these youngsters, who represent their countries thanks to their exemplary behaviour in terms of values and having been awarded the White Card in their schools.
This initiative is carried out thanks to the support of the Foundation's sponsors such as UPS, who support the schools in Poland and Ukraine, and Endesa, who support the school in Manique, Portugal. The Felcsút school in Hungary will host the next Alma Europa Cup this summer, with the Ferenc Puskas Academy as host. The schools in Ukraine are backed by Epicentr for Children and Epicentr K and the school in Poland is involved for the first time after its launch last season together with Salesian Missions for the integration of migrants and disadvantaged groups.
