Official Announcement: Concha Velasco passes away

Real Madrid C. F., its president and Board of Directors are deeply saddened by the passing of Concha Velasco, one of our country's leading artists and a Real Madrid member for 30 years.

Real Madrid extends its condolences and affections to her family and loved ones.
Among a broad collection of awards, Concha Velasco received the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts, the Gold Medal of Merit for Work, the Gran Cruz de la Orden Civil de Alfonso X el Sabio and the National Theatre Award, as well as a Goya in recognition of her outstanding career in 2013.

Concha Velasco, who has passed away at 84 years of age, was always proud of being a madridista. May she rest in peace.
