Official Announcement: Linda Caicedo contract renewal

Real Madrid C. F. and Linda Caicedo have agreed an extension to the player's contract, linking her to the club until 30 June 2031.

Linda Caicedo joined Real Madrid in 2023, at just 18 years old. She has gone on to play 99 games for the club, scoring 26 goals.

Now 20 years of age, she won the Golden Girl award in 2023, and was named in the Women's FIFPro World11 2024, as well as in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) World XI. She was also voted as the second best player in the world at the 2023 The Best awards, while her strike against Germany at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand was voted goal of the tournament.

Linda Caicedo made her debut for the full Colombia national team at just 14, and has since been runner up at the last two editions of the Copa América (2022 and 2025). She was also named in the Best XI at the Copa América 2025.
