Official Announcement: Passing of Salvatore ‘Totò’ Schillaci

Real Madrid C. F., the club president and its Board of Directors are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Salvatore ‘Totò’ Schillaci, one of the legends of Italian football, top scorer and player of the tournament at the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

Real Madrid would like to extend its condolences and sympathy to his family, his teammates and loved ones, to all the clubs he played for, to Italian football and to all its fans.

Schillaci passed away at the age of 59. May he rest in peace.
