Official Announcement: Eduardo ‘Chato’ González passes away

Real Madrid C. F., its President and its Board of Directors profoundly regret the death of Eduardo 'Chato' González, who played for Real Madrid from 1966 to 1969.
During his spell with us, he won 3 LaLiga titles.
Eduardo 'Chato' González was also a coach for many years, managing numerous Spanish clubs.
Real Madrid would like to express its condolences and its affection to his family, his teammates, his clubs and all his loved ones.
Eduardo 'Chato' González has passed away at the age of 80. May he rest in peace.
