Real Madrid were unable to extend their 11-game winning streak, losing to Barça to be dealt their first home defeat of the season in the league. It was an evenly matched Clásico clash, full of offensive firepower, that ultimately went the way of the visitors in the final two minutes. Hezonja top scored for Scariolo's boys with 27 points.

The second Clásico of the season began at a blistering offensive pace. Madrid quickly found inside-out scoring balance, with strong shooting percentages and contributions from Hezonja (7 points) and Tavares (4 points, 3 rebounds). Barcelona leaned on Punter (11 points) and a 6/8 performance from three. Two baskets from Fall gave the visitors the edge at the end of a first quarter marked by swings on the scoreboard (24-28, min. 10).

Madrid hit back
The second quarter took on a more defensive tone. With both teams rotating heavily and increasing intensity at the back, Barcelona found more ways to score, thanks to offensive rebounds and a strong spell from Laprovittola, Satoransky, and Parra, stretching the lead to 10 points. Campazzo restored calm for Madrid, scoring five straight points and leading a resurgence from beyond the arc. A three-pointer from Llull capped an 8-2 run to level the quarter at 20 points (44-48, min. 20).

Both teams came out firing again in the second half. Madrid managed to take the lead through Llull and Hezonja, while tightening perimeter defense (great work from Abalde on Punter) and improving defensive rebounding. But Barcelona punished every lapse with three consecutive triples to respond to the madridistas' surge (62-66, min. 26). The rest of the third quarter was an exchange of runs: first a 10-2 for Madrid to make it 72-68, then a counter from Barça to close the period at 75-77 (min. 30).

Clásico goes to the wire
After trading baskets in the first five minutes of the final quarter, Laprovittola took control for Barça, who built a nine-point cushion with three minutes to go. At 89-98, Madrid tried to mount a comeback. Hezonja, in his highest-scoring league game for Madrid (27 points), led the charge to cut the deficit to three. However, a Parra triple on the next play and several missed shots from Madrid sealed the win for the visitors in an offensively charged Clásico (100-105, min. 40).
