Real Madrid won the Segovia European City of Sport trophy against Casademont Zaragoza to continue unbeaten in the pre-season, following victories against Alba Berlin and Unicaja. Madrid controlled the game completely with an outstanding defensive performance and a very balanced scoring in attack, where they hit 50% from three-point range (13/26) and had four players in double figures, led by Campazzo (18), Okeke (16), Feliz (16) and Maledon (11), who made his debut as a Madrid player alongside Krämer. Sergio Scariolo coached the team for the first time in his second spell in charge of the bench.

There was great excitement at Segovia's Pedro Delgado Pavilion to welcome a Real Madrid side that started the game on top, with a strong defensive performance and good shooting. Campazzo and Okeke (5 points each) spearheaded the attack, which took a 12-point lead and in which Maledon and Krämer also played their first minutes (17-8, min.10).

Madridistas dominant
The Whites continued to completely dominate the game thanks to Scariolo's constant rotations, which allowed them to maintain a high intensity in both halves of the court.
Casademont Zaragoza improved in attack with the inside contribution of Dubjlevic, Robinson and Miguel González. However, Madrid handled the pace of the game without any problems, with the outside players leading the way: Maledon showed his ability to penetrate and break down the defence, while FelizCampazzo and Llull showed off their shooting. Two consecutive three-pointers from the captain opened up a gap of almost 20 points before the break (41-22, min.18).

A three-pointer from Maó to close the second quarter and another 5 points in a row at the start of the third reduced the gap to 9 (43-32, min.22). However, Madrid's riposte soon arrived. And it was emphatic. First Tavares and then Bruno Fernando. In defence, Okeke was practically infallible from three-point range, with two in barely a minute, giving back the authority to our team, who gave another boost in the final stretch of this period, scoring both statically and on the counter-attack and with many players: MaledonFelizLlull and Okeke were already in double digits in scoring (64-39, min.30).

Emphatic victory
Madrid headed into the final quarter with the game almost decided. A difference of 25 points that even exceeded 30 during the final stretch was helped by the outstanding three-point shooting, which reached a 50% success rate, and the commitment and intensity of Scariolo's team. It was a very good debut for Maledon, scoring 11 points, 6 assists and 15 in PIR in 17:37 minutes. Feliz was also superb. The point guard had a one hundred per cent shooting accuracy and finished with 16 points, the same as Okeke. The Whites cruised to a resounding victory, their third of the preseason by 30 points (94-64, min.40).
