Scariolo: “It's a tough away trip against talented opposition”

Scariolo and Deck spoke to the press ahead of Real Madrid's EuroLeague opener, set for Tuesday against Virtus Bologna on the road (8:45 pm CEST): “It's a tough away trip against a highly athletic opponent, with lots of talented, point-scoring players and a unique atmosphere. It's a small court with real passion, it's a high-octane setting for the players throughout the game."
“It's the first game, with all the unknowns that brings. The team is still taking shape, the mechanics aren't all well-oiled yet, so often we work things out through desire, aggression, control of the rebounds, one-on-one defense and good focus to ensure there are few errors towards the end of games."
