Scariolo: “We have to keep our concentration levels high against Bayern”
NEWS.

Scariolo and Garuba spoke to the press on the eve of the EuroLeague clash with Bayern, set to be played at Munich's SAP Garden (Tuesday, 8:00 pm CET). The coach explained: “Like everyone else, we've had very little time to prepare for the next game. But our problem has never been a lack of concentration early in the game or focus on the gameplan - just look at our opening quarters. The question is whether we can maintain that and not have lapses in concentration, or ensure they are as small as possible."

“Of course, when you're playing at home, we've found a way to rediscover that energy and concentration in our game more quickly, and we've even won by some big margins. That's more difficult on the road. It's not that anything changes significantly, it's just that if you give the opposition a look-in, or drop off for a moment, they're uplifted. It's not that our concentration levels are worse away from home, it's just that losing your focused is punished more."

Garuba: “Bayern are very tough to beat on their home court”
“They're a team, especially on their home court, who are very tough to beat. I'm sure it will be a really difficult game. We struggled there last year, but we're mentally prepared for it. We want to take our first win away from home because that's going to be very important. Especially from a mental perspective, we want to build confidence and win games on the road."

200 games
“It's a special figure for me. Seven years after my debut, to still be here at this club, where I've been ever since I was a young kid, it's just really special."
