Scariolo: “It's a great victory”
“We played great in defence and were clinical in attack,” added the coach.
Sergio Scariolo spoke after Real Madrid’s victory away against Hapoel Tel Aviv. The coach had this to say: “It's a great victory for several reasons. First, because of the calibre of the opposition. They have by far the best team in the EuroLeague; second, because of the control we had throughout the game, from start to finish. Even when we fell behind in the third quarter, we responded with a great run and regained control. The team put in a tremendous effort.”

The difficulty of winning away from home
“Every game in the EuroLeague is extremely difficult at home, and even more so away. We've lost some in the final seconds and another that we had under control. It's a process. It's a new team, with very good players, a new coach, new systems, and we need to work hard and be more solid. When you're solid, you can win away from home. To do that, you need that and you need to be focused and united. Today we took a step forward.”
